JOE is freeware. It is an ASCII text screen editor for UNIX and it makes full use of the power and versatility of UNIX. JOE has the feel of most IBM PC text editors: The key-sequences are reminiscent of WordStar and Turbo-C. JOE has all of the features a UNIX user should expect: full use of termcap/terminfo, excellent screen update optimizations, and all of the UNIX-integration features of VI.

Service: UICalendar

The most flexible way to access UICalendar on your iPhone is still to use Safari on the iPhone to use the UICalendar web client. However, other ways of using UICalendar from the iPhone are getting a lot better now. By far the easiest way is to import your UICalendar calendar into iCal on the your iOS device. This gives you everything, including alarms. The only thing that is missing is that you can't enter new events on the iPhone and upload them to UICalendar. Importing your UICal calendar into iCal requires at least iOS 3.0.

Visit the IAM Password Management page at identity.uillinois.edu to set up or modify your password recovery options.  The contact information you provide will allow self management of your password if it becomes unusable (expired, forgotten, or locked) and will only be used for password changes, computer account security events including concerns or alerts involving your high risk data, or as authorized by law.

You can "import" or "subscribe" your UICalendar calendar into any calendar that supports iCal calendar feeds. You can do this once, to move from UICalendar to another calendaring system, or you can use it just to display your UICal calendar in another calendar program or device.

Service: Exchange

When changes occur within the main (Global Address Book) on the Exchange server; computers running Outlook 2007 and 2010 may not automatically receive the updates. When this happens you may be missing new entries, see non-existent entries, or notice incorrect entries. Updating your address book synchronizes the cached Address Book with the Global address book, and may fix instances of mail that is bounced back to the sender.

The list will be created immediately; its email address will be listname@listserv.uic.edu, where listname is the name you selected for the list. The additional email alias listname@uic.edu will be created instantly as well, although this is only an alias that routes email to listname@listserv.uic.edu.
