How do I add a listserv to my address book/contacts in Exchange?

Create a listserv contact

  1. Perform the steps to the email client you are using:
    • Outlook 2010: In Contacts, on the Home tab, in the New group, click New Contact.
    • Outlook 2013: In People, on the Home tab, in the New group, click New Contact.
    • OWA: In Contacts, click New on the top.

  1. Enter a name, the listserv's email address and any other information that you want to include for the listserv contact.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To finish entering contacts     Click Save & Close.
    • To save this contact and start another (For Outlook 2010/2013)     Click Save & New.

Create a listserv contact based on the sender of an email message that you receive

You can quickly create a Outlook contact for an email message sent to you by a listserv.

  1. Open or preview the email message that contains the listserv that you want to add to your contact list.
  2. Right-click the name of the listserv or listserv email that you want, then click Add to Contacts.
