Network incident on Friday 9/22 (3 updates) [resolved]

An "all clear" has been issued by the ACCC Network Services team. Network connectivity has been fully restored to all of the buildings and services affected by emergency maintenance due to hardware failure:

    This is not the "all clear" message we had planned to send at this time. Network connectivity continues to be unstable as we recover from a router hardware failure for the west campus. Unfortunately it requires vendor intervention. We will continue to work throughout the weekend with the vendor to restore network connectivity to the buildings and services affected:

    The failed router has been brought back online, but is unstable and at risk of going down again. ACCC Network Services team will be performing emergency maintenance today (Friday, 9/22) to migrate connections to another router. Intermittent connectivity and brief outages are expected throughout the day as connections are moved and equipment is reconfigured. An "all clear" will be posted when emergency maintenance is complete and service is fully restored. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience.

    On 9/22/17 we experienced a failure in our west data center that caused a brief outage on the west side of campus. One of our routers went down at 9:05am. ACCC Network services team is on site investigating and working to fully restore service.
