Creating Tests

To create a new test:

  1. Navigate to the Content folder (or wherever you have tests available)

  2. Click Assessments -> Test

  3. Click Create to create a new test

  4. Enter a name, description, instructions and click Submit

  5. Select Create a Question from the toolbar at the top of the screen and select the type of question you would like to add to your test (multiple choice, short answer, etc.)

         

     6. Fill out the various fields for the question, assign points and upload any files (if necessary), and click Submit. (If you are creating multiple questions of the same type you can select Submit and Create              Another)

     7. Repeat Step 3 through Step 6 as needed

 

To make a test available:

  1. Open the Content folder (or wherever you have tests available)

  2. Click Assessments -> Test

  3. Select your new test from the Add A New Test box (any tests you have created will be located here) and click submit.

  4. Set the Availability of the test, Due Date, Feedback, and other fields.  Click Submit when you are finished.  Your test will now be located in your designated content area.
