Classroom Equipment Lending

Audience: Faculty

Overview 

Faculty/Instructors are able to check out equipment for use in a particular class session.  Checkouts are made for the duration of a class session and must be returned promptly to be available for other instructors.  Equipment can be checked out from the LTS Support office at Lecture Center E, room E112 (west side of the building). 

Features 

Larger equipment such as the TV monitors can be delivered and setup in the classroom.  High-value items such as laptops and projectors *must* be checked out in person from the office.  Instructors are able to designate a Teaching Assistant to pick up equipment in their stead.

Multiple-Day Use:

Faculty/Instructors are able to check out multimedia equipment for the purpose of multimedia development, from the ACCC-LTS Multimedia Lab, located in the Daley Library room 1-030 (formerly the Instructional Technology Lab East).  Checkouts are for three business days.  The following equipment is available at this location:

Applicability 

In order to check out equipment from the ACCC, you must be a current student, faculty, or staff member.  All lending of equipment is subject to the Equipment Lending Policy.

Cost 

There are no up-front costs associated with checkout of equipment to students or faculty.  However, fines may be incurred per the Equipment Lending Policy.

There are rental fees associated with checkout of equipment for scheduled events.  These costs are detailed at the Event Support (Audio/Visual) service page.

Service Availability

Based on hours of operation at lending locations (between 8:00am - 7:00pm in some locations and 9:00am - 5:00pm in others). Not available during Academic Calendar break periods.
