If your department or unit has an RT instance set up for request/problem management, it can be a little daunting to start using the system. Let's go over some of the basic functions of RT.

RT Training Videos

RT training videos have been made available to quickly learn how to use the various tools in RT.

Webhost site administrators and webmaster liaisons can add and remove users to their sites using the hosted website management tool.

Visit https://www.uic.edu/apps/iam/hostedwebsite to add or remove a user from your webhost.uic.edu site. You must be a site administrator or a webmaster liaison for the campus unit that the site is associated with to do this.

ACCC allows members of the UIC community to purchase sophisticated statistical applications at a significant discount. In exchange for offering deep discounts to staff and students of the UIC Community, the statistical software manufacturers require that ACCC provides some first-tier support for these applications. We can sell you SPSS (-IBM), SAS, Stata, and SYSTAT. We sell these products to the UIC community via the WebStore:

Using Discussion Board in Blackboard is one of the easiest ways to begin fostering on-line collaboration. This tool will help 'engage' students and foster a community within your individual class. Discussion Board can be a very valuable component to a face-to-face course, especially on a commuter campus like UIC. These Discussion Forums provide a venue for 'asynchronous communication'. They provide a public forum and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; they make 'anywhere/anytime' learning a possibility.

No, printing from lab computers is restricted to current UIC students, staff, and faculty, with a valid UIC NetID and password.

When a student does not register for a Spring or Fall term, their UIC NetID is marked for expiration and enters a grace period. The grace period lasts throughout the term during which the student did not register for classes, and ends sometime in the middle of the next term. For example, if a student registered for Spring 2011, but did not register for Fall 2011, their NetID will remain in grace period throughout Fall and into Spring 2012.
