Welcome to Fall 2015 from ACCC!

Dear Faculty,

This coming semester, you will be teaching in at least one classroom that will have a brand new audio visual system installed, and the Academic Computing & Communications Center is here to help get you familiar with your classroom(s)!  Even if you may have taught in a similar classroom previously, we would like to encourage you to explore and familiarize yourself with the new technology.

One option is to visit our website at http://classrooms.uic.edu and select your classroom from the dropdown list on the left side of the page.  The resulting page will list all equipment that is installed in the selected room, along with a list of instructions on how to use all of the equipment, where applicable.  Clicking on a task (e.g. "To begin in this room") will show step-by-step instructions for completing that task, along with images where applicable.

A second option (not exclusive of the first) is to email classrooms@uic.edu requesting a training session with an ACCC staff member.  We will look at the classroom schedule, and taking into account your availability, will suggest some possible days/times for a guided tour of the multimedia system and other aspects of the classroom.

If you should have any other questions, please look through our website, or email us at classrooms@uic.edu and we will assist you as best as we can.

Thank you for your time, and good luck this semester!  The ACCC is here to assist you in any manner possible throughout the semester.

Sincerely,

Academic Computing & Communications Center
