VoIP phone issues [resolved]

The issues affecting calls to on-campus VoIP phones have been resolved and service is fully restored. ACCC VoIP and Telecom engineers worked with AT&T and Cisco support to identify and fix the problem. We will continue to monitor for service reliability. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we worked to restore service as quickly as possible. For questions, please contact consult@uic.edu.

We are aware that some users may be experiencing issues calling on-campus VoIP phones. Calls may fail with a busy signal, silence, or a "this call cannot be completed as dialed" message. Some users may be experiencing issues calling on-campus VoIP phones. Calls may fail with a busy signal, silence, or a "this call cannot be completed as dialed" message. We are investigating these issues and have engaged AT&T as it may be a call routing issue within AT&T. For questions, please contact consult@uic.edu.
