Please note: Basic Email (Webmail and Tigger) will be retired on December 15th, 2017

ACCC Basic Email service allows you to access your email on the web through Webmail as well as many desktop and mobile clients. Features include spam filtering, custom filters, and vacation and out-of-office auto-reply.

The email forwarding preferences for your email address can be changed at any time.


Basic Email service requires the creation of a Mailserv account. A valid UIC NetID and common password are required to create and access the account.

If you have an existing email account on Tigger, migrate to Mailserv. The online migration process will copy your email and custom filters from Tigger to Mailserv.


Basic Email is available to current UIC students, faculty, and staff. When a student, staff or faculty member leaves UIC, access will be terminated automatically.
