Phones (Centrex)

Centrex is the name of the legacy telephony system that has been used on campus for about the past 20 years.  The Board of Trustees has mandated that the contract for this system will not be renewed when the current contract extension expires in July 2020. Certain applications on campus will still need to be maintained on Centrex but a very small number of lines will continue to be maintained.


This system allows telephone calls and telecommunications to be conducted over traditional analog circuitry.


Must be affiliated with the university, and have a valid use case associated with the continuation of Centrex service.
