Features 

Blackboard Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate is a virtual learning environment that facilitates real-time online learning. This web conferencing system is accessed through Blackboard Learn and empowers instructors and TAs to create individual and repeat sessions on their own. Blackboard Collaborate also automatically pre-enrolls everyone in the Blackboard Learn course site to attend the session(s), and organizes all links to sessions and recordings. There are currently two versions of this tool: The legacy Blackboard Collaborate, and the new version Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, which offers a Java-free experience utilizing a web browser.

Cost: This tool is part of the University Supported tools. There is no additional charge for this service.

Cisco Webex

Cisco Webex is a multi-functional video and audio conference web application. This web conferencing system combines web-based meetings with integrated collaboration tools such as whiteboard, chat, and screen share. It allows users to meet and collaborate anytime, anywhere, from any web browser.

Cost: This tool is part of the Basic Service Bundle. There is no additional charge for this service.

Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts is part of Google’s G Suite, enabling both one-on-one chats and group chats with up to 25 people at a time. You can use Hangouts to start a chat conversation, video call, or phone call using Wi-Fi. Hangouts sync automatically across devices. If you start a Hangout on your computer, you can continue your chat on another device, such as your phone, for example. Hangouts enables students, faculty, and staff to collaborate anytime, anywhere.
