Security Awareness Month

The first and most important layer of IT security is awareness. In addition to the security awareness and training portion of the UIC Information Security Program, the ACCC Information Security and Privacy Office promotes Security Education, Awareness and News through our Twitter feed and we encourage you to Follow @ACCCSecurity

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) and each year the ACCC Information Security and Privacy Office prepares an NCSAM campaign to engage the campus community in Security Awareness and Education.

This October you can visit our traveling security booth at the scheduled locations below. You can take this opportunity to engage in security education and awareness and talk to an ACCC Security Officer about your cyber security questions or concerns.
