Extended Laptop Loan

Funded through the Library/IT Assessment, the Academic Computing and Communications Center partners with the Honors College to offer an extended laptop lending program called ACCCELL. The goal of the ACCCELL service is to provide students in need with a loaner laptop to use during their tenure at UIC to assist in their academic success.

Student recipients of the President’s Award Program scholarship are offered a current-model laptop with:

  • Windows operating system
  • UIC-licensed Microsoft Office and antivirus software

Service Request Fulfillment Time Clients are not able to directly request this service. Rather, it is provided via a partnership with the Honors College.
