Faculty: In-Class Use

Faculty/Instructors are able to check out equipment for use in a particular class session. Checkouts are made for the duration of a class session and must be returned promptly to be available for other instructors. Equipment can be checked out from the LTS Support office at Lecture Center E, room E112 (west side of the building). We currently have the following types of equipment available for reservation:

  • Display adapters to connect your device to the multimedia systems found in the classrooms
  • Wireless microphones for larger classrooms

  • USB webcams/microphones
  • Various other equipment to meet your teaching needs!

High-value items such as laptops and projectors *must* be checked out in-person from the LTS Support Office. Instructors may designate a teaching assistant to pick up equipment in their stead.

Multiple-Day Use

Faculty/instructors are able to check out multimedia equipment for the purpose of multimedia development from the Academic Multimedia Lab, located in the Daley Library room 1-030. Checkouts are for three business days with an ability to renew the checkout. The following equipment is available at this location:

  • Windows or Apple laptops with multimedia software pre-installed
  • iPads
  • Digital projectors
  • Camcorders
    • Tripods
    • SD Cards
  • Digital audio recorders
  • USB headsets
  • and more!

In order to check out equipment from the ACCC, you must be a current student, faculty, or staff member. Laptops are limited to three total checkouts per semester, in order to ensure the limited supply of laptops is available to as many students as possible. All lending of equipment is subject to the Equipment Lending Policy.

All Users
